However, while the anticipation for the Wisconsin football team’s bowl game is not yet at its peak, USAToday’s latest bowl projections have shed some light on a potential matchup. 

Wisconsin Football Projected to Play a Bowl Game Against a Head Coach Well-Known by Badgers Fans

The current USA Today projection points toward a familiar scenario for the Wisconsin Badgers, placing them in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl (again) against none other than Kansas, led by head coach Lance Leipold.

Leipold has orchestrated an impressive turnaround with the Jayhawks, guiding them to a 7-4 record thus far. Kansas’ transformation into a competitive program under his leadership is notable, especially considering the program’s historically poor football teams.
