Wisconsin Football CB Jay Harper Signs National Letter of Intent

The Wisconsin football program has two cornerbacks coming in the 2024 recruiting class, and Alabama native Jay Harper is one of them. 

Harper made things official with the Badgers on Wednesday, signing his National Letter of Intent.

Height: 6 feet

Weight: 165 pounds

School: Valley High School

Commitment to the Wisconsin Football Program

Harper joins Omillio Agard as the two cornerback commits in the 2024 cycle. 

The Valley High School standout earned 14 offers during his recruitment, with notable schools including Texas A&M, Tennessee, Missouri, Mississippi State, Kentucky, Georgia Tech, and others extending scholarship offers. 

Harper took an official visit to UW on June 9th. It didn’t take long for the Alabama native to make his decision, as he announced his commitment to Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin football program on June 19th. 

Wisconsin has loaded up on young help in the secondary, with four players set to enter their second year and the CB duo in the 2024 cycle coming in. The Badgers will also be returning Ricardo Hallman, Nyzier Fourqurean, Max Lofy, and others at cornerback next season.
