WATCH: Wisconsin Football Quarterback Pays Hilarious Tribute to Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift is arguably the most influential musical presence/entertainer in the world right now. Don’t believe me? Then a quick Google search should change your mind, considering she racked up a cool $92 million entertaining around the globe last year. And now Swift’s power has reached new heights, considering she’s infiltrated the Wisconsin football locker room.

The Badgers social media team (who’s been killing it this offseason, by the way) released a video of true freshman quarterback Cole LaCrue out of Bloomfield, Colorado, singing a Taylor Swift classic “You Belong with Me” in front of his teammates.

And let’s just say — LaCrue performed well under pressure (I love to see this from a young signal-caller) and has an impressive stage presence because it didn’t take long before some of the Big Ten’s grittiest football players joined in on the fun.

As a known Karaoke singer myself, I’d happily take the stage with Cole LaCrue any day of the week. I respect any man who knows his strengths on the mic — and if your voice isn’t your selling point — then you pivot to involving the crowd.

I’m a bigger fan of the Wisconsin football freshman quarterback today than I was yesterday — and this video is a major reason why.
