We are just days away from Wisconsin Badgers wrestling taking on the Lindenwood Lions this Sunday at the UW Field House!  Tickets for this Sunday vs. Lindenwood and the others are still available for the match.

InterMat Individual Rankings Released for Wisconsin Wrestling

As we inch closer to the opening of the 2023-2024 wrestling season we are excited to see our Wisconsin Badgers wrestlers ranked among the best in the country.

No. 5 Eric Barnett at 125 pounds.

No. 16 Joseph Zargo at 149 pounds.

No. 4 Dean Hamiti at 165 pounds.

No. 27 Max Maylor at 174 pounds.

InterMat Tournament and Dual Rankings Released

Wisconsin wrestling enters the year ranked No.18 in tournament ranking (NWCA Coaches Poll) and No. 26 in duals rankings according to InterMat. Much can be made of the teams stacked at the top but I could make the case that Wisconsin will finish the season ranked higher than their starting spot.

The Wisconsin wrestling schedule is a daunting one but nothing Coach Bono and the boys would ever run from. Wisconsin faces nine teams ranked within the Top 30 of the InterMat tournament rankings and seven ranked in the Top 30 InterMat Dual rankings.

We ask you to join us on this inaugural journey with Badger Notes as we strive to bring you dedicated coverage of the Wisconsin wrestling program.
