Wisconsin Football Makes the Top-10 for Four-Star RB Iverson Howard
Howard has earned 25 offers thus far, but his revised list will include Wisconsin, Michigan, Florida, Virginia Tech, Penn State, Maryland, NC State, Miami, Ole Miss, and Oregon. Some notable programs to miss the cut include Georgia, Cincinnati, Michigan State, Syracuse, and Pittsburgh.
According to the industry-generated composite rankings, Howard is the No. 305 player in the nation, the No. 27 RB, and the No. 7 player in Maryland. He is a three-year contributor for Quince Orchard High School, making his first appearance as a freshman.
Wisconsin loaded up on running back talent in the 2024 recruiting class, bringing in Darrion Dupree, Dilin Jones, and Gideon Ituka. UW will have a lot of youth at the position following the upcoming season, with Chez Mellusi’s final season on the horizon and Oklahoma transfer Tawee Walker playing his final year of eligibility with the Badgers.
Wisconsin also recently made the top options for 2025 RB Tory Blaylock. It will be interesting to see how much the UW staff prioritizes running back in this cycle and who emerges as a primary target.
As it stands, the Wisconsin football program holds commitments from Landyn Locke, Remington Moss, Michael Roeske, and Cooper Catslano in the 2025 recruiting cycle.
