Wisconsin Basketball Offers 2026 Wing Gabe Sularski During Visit
Wisconsin basketball has begun establishing a 2026 recruiting big board.
Greg Gard and his Wisconsin basketball coaching staff had one of its most star-studded recruiting guest lists in recent memory this past weekend — with a clear focus on the 2026 cycle.
Following an unofficial recruiting visit to Madison, the Wisconsin Badgers extended a scholarship offer to Benet Academy wing Gabe Sularski from Lisle, Illinois.
After a great unofficial visit, I am Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Wisconsin @BadgerMBB Thank you to @GregGard @DeanOliver20 and the entire coaching staff for this opportunity! @BenetHoops @MeanstreetsEYB @UWBadgers pic.twitter.com/bfxr1MZVcv

“To receive an offer from Wisconsin was a Blessing,” Sularski told BadgerNotes. “Being only 15 years old and having a big program like Wisconsin believe in me and want me for their program is great.”
As it stands, the 6-foot-6 guard holds scholarship offers from Bryant, Eastern Illinois, Illinois-Chicago, Illinois, Michigan State, Missouri, and Purdue.

Wisconsin basketball assistant coach Dean Oliver is the lead contact recruiting Gabe Sularski for the Badgers and spent the day with him & his family.
“He [Oliver] is the one that’s been out to see me play, so it was nice to connect more with him in person.”
During his visit, Sularski learned more about the program, toured the facilities, watched practice, and even attended the Wisconsin football game vs. Ohio State.
“We initially took a tour of the facilities, which was really nice, and it looks like they are remodeling a lot, so it will be nice to come back out when all is complete next year. After that, I met with Greg Gard and had a lengthy meeting where he offered me the scholarship.
“I like his values and things he pointed out for me to take in and understand as I’m going through this recruiting process. Great Coach.”
Final Thoughts
Wisconsin basketball entering the race for Gabe Sularski’s services early in his recruitment is significant because he’s already viewed as the top 2026 prospect in Illinois — and this will undoubtedly be a national recruitment.
Stylistically, his size, length, and three-point shooting would mesh well with Greg Gard’s offensive system.
Academics will also play a pivotal role in Sularski’s recruitment, so I’d expect the Badgers to be players in this one and continue building a relationship with the Illinois native.
