Wisconsin Badgers Football 2024 Commit Posts Monster Stat Line
The Wisconsin Badgers football team saw a glaring hole at tailback following the 2023 season. Braelon Allen is expected to enter the NFL draft after his junior season, and Chez Mellusi will be out of eligibility, leaving plenty of questions in the Badgers backfield for 2024 and beyond.
This is why Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers staff went out and pushed for verbal commitments from three running backs in the 2024 recruiting class: Darrion Dupree, Dilin Jones, and Gideon Ituka.
With Jackson Acker, Cade Yacamelli, and Nate White as the only returning players at the position, the Wisconsin Badgers football team is expected to have an open competition for the coveted RB1 duties. Given the talented trios diversity of skill sets — it’ll be interesting to see who rises to the top.
A Wisconsin Badgers Football Commit Posted a Monster Stat Line Last Friday
Although a quick Google search could not dig up any film from last Friday’s game, Wisconsin Badgers football commit Gideon Ituka posted a gaudy box score.
According to a social media post, the 5-foot-9, 220-pound tailback carried the ball just 13 times for 234 yards and five touchdowns in a 32-12 win over Clarksburg.

Currently, the 247Sports Composite has Ituka listed as the No. 76 running back in the country and the No. 26 player in Maryland.
His blend of power and patience could help him factor into the Wisconsin Badgers football running back competition if he continues to develop.
