AJ Storr Drops Yet Another Highlight Dunk vs. Rutgers
In case you missed the Wisconsin basketball game and didn’t go on any form of social media last night, AJ Storr did it again.
Twice actually.
The sophomore guard threw down not one, but two impressive dunks in the Badgers’ 78-66 win over Rutgers in the team’s final home game of the season.
Storr led the team with 17 points, but his two dunks are what stood out to fans in the Kohl Center and all over social media.
AJ Storr Throws Down Two Impressive Dunks vs. Rutgers
At this point, it’s almost expected. But that doesn’t change how spectacular his dunks are. It’s hard to think back to a player that was as dynamic as AJ Storr. Sure, he can force some shots and will sometimes shoot to get hot, even if they aren’t the best shots. But he’s a sophomore. That’s what you are going to get.
He went 8-15 against Rutgers, but you take some of the lower shooting percentages because he can bring you something you can’t measure with stats: momentum.
Both of his dunks came in different situations tonight, but both had a very positive impact.
His first dunk came off of a Max Klemsit missed layup in transition. At the time, the game was tied 26-26 with 3:24 left in the first half.

After that dunk, the Kohl Center was rocking. He also added in a layup right before the buzzer to put the Badgers up 34-32 at the half.
His next big dunk was when the Badgers were up 13 with 3:26 left in the game. It essentially put the game away.
He drove down the lane and threw it down left-handed over Clifford Omoruyi, one of the best defenders in the Big Ten. That really got social media, and more importantly, the crowd, going.

After that dunk, there was no way Rutgers was going to come back. He threw down the dagger with over three minutes left in the game.
Social Media Reacts to AJ Storr’s Highlight Dunks
Needless to say, there was plenty of reactions to Storr’s latest show.
It’s fun watching AJ Storr dunk a basketball.
10/10.

Nothing sweeter than left-handed flush from AJ Storr. Would love to see dunking contest at next week's Big 10 tournament. Could be intriguing competition between a couple of wing players: Michigan State's Coen Carr and Storr who has so much more in his game beyond his vertical. https://t.co/o9lmsOCgdk
