The Badgers have another RB target headed to campus.
The Wisconsin football program will bring in a newly offered running back target in the 2025 recruiting class for an official visit in June.
Javin Gordon, a Georgia native, took to social media to announce that he will make his way to Madison from June 7-9.

Wisconsin football extended an offer to Gordon a little over a week ago, his 23rd offer thus far. The 5-foot-11, 200-pound tailback also holds offers from Northwestern, Indiana, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Wake Forest, Liberty, USF, Navy, and Appalachian State, among several others.
Gordon has already visited Florida, South Carolina, Georgia Tech, and Wake Forest this spring, and his official will mark his first stop in Madison.
Gordon played on varsity in all three years of his high school career. In his junior season, the Stephens County standout logged 1,635 yards and 23 touchdowns on 274 carries while also adding 19 receptions for 273 yards and two touchdowns. He also served as a returner, logging 142 kick return yards on seven attempts and 144 punt return yards on nine attempts, per MaxPreps.
UW will also be hosting running back target Byron Louis during the same weekend. The Badgers took three running backs in the 2024 recruiting cycle: Darrion Dupree, Dilin Jones, and Gideon Ituka, and their 2025 target board also includes John Forster, Jace Clarizio, and Iverson Howard.
Badgers running backs coach Devon Spalding has been putting in work on the recruiting trail lately by touching base with loads of running back targets. He’ll have the opportunity to give Gordon a glimpse of what the Badgers have to offer and how they might envision him in the program.
As it stands, Wisconsin football holds eight commitments in the 2025 recruiting cycle, good for the No. 22 ranked class in the nation per the composite rankings.
