The Wisconsin football program made the top choices for a defensive line target in the 2025 class, with a commitment date coming soon.

Wilnerson Telemaque listed the Badgers alongside Florida, Georgia Tech, and West Virginia in his top four and announced he will be committing on June 18th.

According to the composite rankings, Telemaque is the No. 698 player in the country, the No. 72 DL, and the No. 93 player in Florida.

Wisconsin recently jumped into the mix in Telemaque’s recruitment after defensive line coach EJ Whitlow extended an offer at the end of April. The Florida native also fielded offers from LSU, Louisville, Colorado, Minnesota, Nebraska, Missouri, SMU, Texas A&M, and several others.

Telemaque’s visit schedule has seen some recent changes. He was initially set for an official visit with UW on June 14th, but that date was moved up to this weekend after he canceled his visit with Minnesota. Additionally, his official visit with LSU, originally planned for June 21st, has been canceled. This makes Wisconsin his final stop on his visit schedule before his commitment date.

In his junior season at Monsignor Pace High School, Telemaque recorded 16 tackles, three TFLs, three sacks, and a pass breakup in eight games, according to MaxPreps.

UW is still looking for its first defensive line commitment in the 2025 cycle after Torin Pettaway flipped his commitment to Minnesota in March. Telemaque is among the top remaining defensive line targets at this stage, along with Kade Pietrzak, Drayden Pavey, and Jayquann Stubbs, among others.

Currently, the Wisconsin football program holds the 13 commitments in the 2025 cycle and the No. 17 recruiting class in the country.
