The Wisconsin football team continues its hot streak in recruiting early this summer. The Badgers have had two official visit weekends and visiting recruits are all raving about their experience with the Wisconsin football program and their time in Madison.

One of those players is Eugene Hilton Jr. If the last name sounds familiar, it’s because it should Eugene is the son of former NFL receiver, T.Y. Hilton. He recently took an official visit to the Wisconsin football program, spending last weekend in Madison and checking out what the Badgers have to offer.

The Badgers have been recruiting Hilton for quite a while now but were always thought of as a team that was just kind of there. Since March, the Georgia Bulldogs were the favorite to land the receiver out of Zionsville, Indiana.

But after his visit to Wisconsin, the Badgers are now seemingly the favorite. In fact, Hilton doesn’t even have another official visit set up, including Georgia.

The Wisconsin football team received a pair of crystal ball predictions for the composite 4-star  receiver. One is from Badger247 expert Nick Osen. The other is from Benjamin Wolk, a Dawgs247 staff writer who covers the Georgia Bulldogs.

There are three other predictions for Georgia, but all of those came in early March, including one from Steve Wiltfong, who now covers college football recruiting for On3, not 247Sports.

Speaking of Steve Wiltfong, he also logged a prediction for the Wisconsin football team to land Hilton at On3.

The last name certainly raises eyebrows, but Eugene isn’t a national recruit because of who his father is. He is a legitimate football player and offensive weapon.

According to 247Sports composite rankings, Hilton is the 395th-overall prospect in the country, the 63rd receiver, and the seventh-ranked player in Indiana. He holds 28 Division I offers from teams like Wisconsin, Georgia, Ole Miss, Michigan, and more.

The Wisconsin football target is expected to announce his commitment at some point this summer.
