The Wisconsin football program is well-positioned for a commitment from a three-star cornerback in the 2025 recruiting class.

Rivals recruiting analyst Jon McNamara logged a FutureCast prediction in favor of the Badgers to land Rukeem Stroud on Tuesday.

This prediction comes shortly before Stroud’s official visit, which is set to take place this weekend.

According to the composite rankings, Stroud is the No. 430 player in the country, the No. 35 CB, and the No. 57 player in Florida.

The Florida native, Rukeem Stroud, has garnered significant attention with 28 offers from notable schools, including Penn State, Maryland, Louisville, Colorado, Kansas State, Kentucky, Ole Miss, NC State, Texas A&M, and several others, making the competition fierce for his commitment.

Cornerbacks coach Paul Haynes has done the heavy lifting in Stroud’s recruitment. He’s done enough to keep the Badgers near the top of the three-star prospect’s list, and with Stroud only having one other official visit scheduled currently, UW could wrap this recruitment up as soon as this weekend.

In his junior season at Tampa Bay Tech, Stroud recorded 18 tackles, 17 pass breakups, six interceptions, 2.0 TFLs, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery, per MaxPreps.

Wisconsin currently holds commitments from defensive backs Remington Moss, Jai’mier Scott, Grant Dean, and Luke Emmerich. UW’s commits have some versatility in that Moss and Scott can play safety or cornerback, but Stroud could be a great fit as a true boundary cornerback.

The Badgers are also pursuing Zadian Gentry, Mason Alexander, Corey Costner, and Jahmare Washington at cornerback, all of whom have official visits coming up.

Heading into a massive recruiting weekend, the Wisconsin football program holds 11 commitments in the 2025 cycle, according to the composite rankings, that comes in as the No. 19 class in the country.
