The Wisconsin football program is among the final schools for a top wide receiver target in the 2025 class.

Three-star WR Muizz Tounkara announced his top three on Friday, listing Wisconsin alongside Kansas and Arizona.

According to the composite rankings, Tounkara is the No. 744 player in the country, the No. 116 WR, and the No. 124 player in Texas.

The Clear Springs standout earned an offer from UW in late May and quickly set an official visit, which took place during the first weekend in June and marked his first trip to Madison.

“My visit was great, I loved everything about the city of Madison,” Tounkara told Badgernotes.com after his official visit. “What really stood out to me was the bond that I was creating with all the players. They really treated me like family when they didn’t know me, so it meant a lot.”

Tounkara has now wrapped up his official visits and is set to make his decision on July 13th.

This past season, Tounkara played as a wide receiver, cornerback, and returner at Clear Springs High School. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound athlete recorded 34 receptions for 311 yards and a touchdown as a receiver while posting 13 tackles at cornerback, according to MaxPreps. Tounkara also added 125 kick return yards and 61 punt return yards.
Wisconsin has already landed commitments from Eugene Hilton Jr. and Cameron Miller in the 2025 recruiting class. Tounkara would be the cherry on top of a strong receiver class for Kenny Guiton.

After a busy official visit season, the Badgers are now up to 20 commitments in the 2025 class, which currently ranks as the No. 11 class in the country.
