Wisconsin Badgers Wrestling program secured the 2025 commitment of in-state wrestler – Freedom High School Peter Tomazevic!

Wisconsin Badgers Tale of the Tape

Peter Tomzevic, from Northeast Wisconsin (Freedom, WI), is the latest 2025 wrestler to pledge his commitment to Coach Chris Bono and the Wisconsin Badgers wrestling program.

Tomazevic shows good mat awareness and is heavy with the collar ties. Shows good balance and has the ability to score in bunches. In the match below versus Spencer Lee – not that Spencer Lee – you can see that he is always pressuring. That’s the style of wrestler Coach Bono covets and he certainly fits the mold of a Wisconsin wrestler.

I love that the wrestlers that the Wisconsin Badgers continue to bring are scrappy, grinders and physical.

In this match below Tomazevic perfectly encapsulates my point. Trailing 2-1 for a long stretch of the match and he didn’t panic and start throwing risky attacks.

Tomazevic stuck to his offense and kept moving forward and was rewarded. He ripped a nice toss in the closing seconds to win and showed poise under pressure! DAWG!

I am very excited about this add to the Wisconsin Badgers wrestling room. Coach Bono is really doing a nice job stocking the room with competition and letting the boys sort it out!
