Wisconsin Badgers Tale of the Tape

The newly committed 2025 commit has the chops to make an impact for Head Coach Chris Bono and the Wisconsin Badgers wrestling program. After back to back state championship match appearances – Dennee is poised to break through in his final prep season.

Caleb Dennee is not only a great folk style wrestler in the State of Wisconsin – the two-time state finalist from Marshfield has made a name for himself on the freestyle circuit too. Wrestling with Crass Trained: The Weigh In Club, he was a finalist at the U17 World Team Trials in Las Vegas and was a Fargo All-American after a third place finish in 2023.

Just watch the clip below to see how quick he turns a 2-0 advantage into a 13-0 in 50 seconds. This dawg goes on a 11 point scoring barrage in under a minute to end period one.

Wisconsin prep wrestler, committing to wrestle for the Wisconsin Badgers, and scoring in flurries – you love to see it!

Caleb Dennee is a great add to the Wisconsin Badgers wrestling program. Coach Bono certainly has a type that he and the staff love – tough, physical, and extremely active on offense.

The Wisconsin Badgers continue to add talented youth to a room stocked with high end wrestling talent. The competitive nature of a room will sort this out and reminds me of the old adage, “a rising tide will lift all boats”.

Its more than clear to me that the tide and excitement for the Wisconsin wrestling program continues to rise!
