Wisconsin Badgers Wrestling program have an exciting commitment in their 2024 recruiting class – WIAA Wisconsin state finalist Elliott Biba.

Wisconsin Badgers Head Coach Chris Bono is locking down this state better than most of those jails on Netflix’s “60 Days In” series. Coach Bono was able to secure yet another exciting homegrown prospect!

Wisconsin Badgers Tale of The Tape

Elliott Biba, by way of Highland, Wisconsin, is a very exciting wrestler and has both folk style and freestyle experience. According to his Trackwrestling profile, Biba comes to Madison holding a 65-5 record and 23 pins and 19 technical falls.

The Highland product finished his 2024 campaign 35-1 and a finalist in 138LB class at the WIAA Wisconsin state tournament. Biba shows great poise in top control and is a very good top position wrestler. Stays true to technique in close matches and doesn’t try and get outside of his game. Very solid wrestler and will be a value add to the Wisconsin Badgers wrestling room.

It would seem like Elliott Biba could be in the mix at 141LB, 149LB or even the 157LB.

As he takes to the collegiate strength and conditioning program under Coach Bono and his staff, Biba could make a run in those weight classes. He is tough and gritty and I won’t count him out of any of those roles.

Stay with us as we look to weight class previews as we approach the season!
