The Wisconsin Badgers are well-positioned for a commitment from a three-star wide receiver target in the 2025 recruiting class.

247Sports expert Nick Osen cast a Crystal Ball prediction in favor of UW for Muizz Tounkara, a Texas wide receiver.

According to the composite rankings, Tounkara is the No. 633 player in the country, the No. 102 WR, and the No. 112 player in Texas.

The three-star receiver’s recruitment picked up some steam in May. Badgers wide receivers coach Kenny Guiton extended an offer to Tounkara on the 17th, and with Hawaii, Arizona, and Kansas also offering, he’s now up to 26 offers. Other notable programs such as Penn State, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Pitt, Colorado State, Houston, Boise State, Memphis, and Vanderbilt have also thrown their hats in the ring.

This Crystal Ball comes ahead of Tounkara’s official visit to Wisconsin, which begins tomorrow, May 31st. He’s also currently scheduled for visits with Vanderbilt, Arkansas, and Kansas in the following weeks.

This past season, Tounkara played as a wide receiver, cornerback, and returner at Clear Springs High School. The 6-foot-3, 195-pound athlete recorded 34 receptions for 311 yards and a touchdown as a receiver while posting 13 tackles at cornerback, according to MaxPreps. Tounkara also added 125 kick return yards and 61 punt return yards.

Wisconsin has already added a slot receiver in the 2025 recruiting cycle in Cameron Miller, but UW is expected to take one or two more receivers. Tounkara could be the next domino to fall for the Wisconsin Badgers, who are also pursuing Vernon Allen, Davion Chandler, Eugene Hilton Jr, and Kamren Flowers.

Wisconsin will have the opportunity to close this recruitment down this weekend during Tounkara’s official visit. Heading into a big weekend, the Badgers currently hold the No. 19 recruiting class in the country with 11 commitments, per the composite rankings.
