Muizz Tounkara, a three-star wide receiver in the 2025 recruiting class, got his first look at Madison this weekend during an official visit with the Wisconsin Badgers.

“My visit was great, I loved everything about the city of Madison,” Tounkara told Badgernotes.com. “What really stood out to me was the bond that I was creating with all the players. They really treated me like family when they didn’t know me, so it meant a lot.”

According to the composite rankings, Tounkara is the No. 638 player in the country, the No. 103 WR, and the No. 113 player in Texas.

Wisconsin only jumped into the mix recently for the three-star wide receiver, extending an offer on May 17th. He’s also fielded offers from Penn State, Ole Miss, Utah, Vanderbilt, Arizona, Houston, Kansas, Boise State, and Pitt, among others.

Tounkara wasted little time before locking in his official visit with UW, and he was able to build on his relationship with the Badgers staff during his time in Madison.

“My relationship with the staff is really good. We talk almost every day, and this visit just boosted my relationship with the whole coaching staff,” Tounkara said.

Wide receivers coach Kenny Guiton has acted as the primary recruiter for the Clear Springs High School standout. What is the biggest thing that has put the Badgers near the top of Tounkara’s list?

“The constant love from the whole coaching staff and they always remind me that I’m the top priority, so that means a lot!”

The Texas native has official visits scheduled with Kansas, Vanderbilt, and Arkansas in the coming weeks. His decision will be coming soon, but he wants to let the recruiting process play out before making his choice.

“After I take all my officials, I will commit late or mid-July,” Tounkara told Badgernotes.

What will be the most important thing for Tounkara makes his selection after he wraps up his visits?

“Really development and where my game could come in and help the team the most.”

The Wisconsin Badgers currently hold 13 commitments in the 2025 recruiting cycle, which comes in at No. 15 in the country per the composite rankings.
