Wisconsin Badgers wrestling news

The Wisconsin Badgers wrestling team isn’t just full of smart guys – it’s full of local guys that haven’t forgot where they came from and the generation that follows.

Wisconsin Badgers Wrestlers Support Local Wrestling Club

Wisconsin redshirt-junior Cale Anderson and redshirt-sophomore Cody Goebel will be the clinicians for the summer clinic hosted by the Middleton Area Wrestling Club (MAWC). Spots are open now and registration is here!

Anderson (Viroqua) and Goebel (Mukwonago) know the importance of youth wrestling giving back to the youth within the state of Wisconsin. What better way to pay it forward that being the clinicians at a local wrestling summer camp.

Anderson, the former 2021 152LB WIAA Wisconsin state champion, completed his senior season 23-0 and finished his Wisconsin prep career 156-13 overall. Adding two thirds and a sixth place to his state title – Anderson certainly has the credentials to provide youth wrestlers with valuable coaching.

Goebel, was a 2022 WIAA Wisconsin state finalist and amassed a 49-4 record en route to a Wisconsin sectional championship at 145LB. With a state finalist honor and 47 collegiate matches under his belt, Goebel has the prep and collegiate experience to give young wrestlers proper tutelage.
