The Wisconsin football program is well-positioned for a commitment from a three-star cornerback target in the 2025 class.

247Sports experts logged a pair of Crystal Ball predictions for the Badgers to land Jahmare Washington, a Chicago native

According to the composite rankings, Washington is the No. 916 player in the nation, the No. 80 CB, and the No. 27 player in Illinois.

The three-star cornerback is set to head to Madison for an official visit this weekend. He was a late addition to the visitor list, and Wisconsin is the only school currently on Washington’s visit schedule. The official visit will mark Washington’s third trip to UW.

The Morgan Park High School standout spoke with Badgernotes after a junior day visit and noted how cornerback coach Paul Haynes’ energy and hospitality kept him entertained and interested in what Wisconsin has to offer.

In his junior year, the 6-foot-2, 170-pound cornerback recorded 28 tackles, five interceptions, four pass breakups, and a tackle for loss, according to MaxPreps.

Wisconsin picked up a commitment from four-star cornerback Rukeem Stroud during his official visit last weekend. With Stroud now in the fold, Washington is among the top remaining targets at the position, along with Zadian Gentry, Tre Poteat, and Corey Costner, among others.

With no other school visits on his schedule, Washington will be a name to watch as Wisconsin could shut down his recruitment as soon as this weekend.

Heading into the second official visit weekend, the Wisconsin football program holds 14 commitments in the 2025 recruiting class, which currenlty ranks as the No. 15 class in the nation.
