Wisconsin Lands 2024 3-Star Safety Kahmir Prescott
Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin Badgers added 3-star safety Kahmir Prescott to the 2024 recruiting class.
Madison, Wis. – Luke Fickell and the Wisconsin football program stayed hot on the recruiting trail and added another intriguing defensive talent to the 2024 recruiting class on Thursday morning.
After picking up an offer in February and visiting Madison earlier this month, three-star safety Kahmir Prescott out of Philadelphia, Pennslyvania, announced his commitment to the Badgers over the likes of Michigan State, Nebraska, Pittsburgh, and Penn State.
According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Prescott, a 6-foot-1, 190-pounder, is the No. 625 player in the 2024 cycle, the No. 60 safety in the country, and the No. 19 player in Pennslyvania.
From what I’ve been told, Badgers new safeties coach Colin Hitschler worked his ass off to earn Prescott’s commitment, which is his first as a lead recruiter for the Wisconsin football program.
As a junior at Northeast High School, Prescott registered 35 tackles, six pass deflections, four interceptions, three TFLs, and a sack, according to MaxPreps.
Scouting Report
Kahmir Prescott is an addition to the 2024 recruiting class that genuinely excites me. Given UW’s desire to play a lot of three-safety looks, landing premium athletes and stockpiling that room is a high priority.
