Wisconsin football makes the cut for a WR in the 2023 recruiting class
On Monday afternoon, 2023 three-star wide receiver Chance Fitzgerald out of Nolensville, Tennessee, announced his top 12 schools he’ll consider moving forward, a list that included the University of Wisconsin.
In addition to Wisconsin, Fitzgerald is still considering Georgia Tech, Michigan, Oklahoma State, Minnesota, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Kansas State, Iowa, Auburn, Houston, and Pittsburgh.
Per the 247Sports Composite, he’s the No. 504 overall prospect in the 2023 recruiting class, the No. 67 WR in the country, and the No. 15 player in Tennessee.
The 6-foot-3, 184-pound WR currently holds 35 plus offers but is reportedly leaning towards Minnesota or Virginia Tech, both of which he’s taken an official visit to.
The University of Wisconsin will assuredly make a push to get the fast-rising wideout out of Tennesee onto campus for a visit, especially considering the recent de-commitment from 2023 WR Trech Kekahuna.
As it stands, UW has just one pass-catcher committed in the 2023 recruiting cycle – Collin Dixon.
