Wisconsin Football: Week 12 Injury Report for Game at Nebraska

Excerpt: Wisconsin football ruled out one player, and seven others are listed as out for the season heading into the week 12 matchup against Nebraska.

Madison, Wis. — Wisconsin football released its injury report ahead of its 11th game vs. the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

The Badgers, coming into week 12 with a record of 5-5, are fresh off a loss to the Iowa Hawkeyes by a score of 24-10.

Heading into week 12, Bucky has only one player ruled out due to injury, and seven others listed as out for the season.  One key player has been removed from this list from last week, however.

Specifically, running back Chez Mellusi improved enough from last week to be removed from this injury report.  Head coach Jim Leonhard confirmed Mellusi would return this season at some point, which is now official.

Mellusi’s return comes at a great time for Wisconsin.  Starting running back Braelon Allen is dealing with a shoulder injury, so the added depth is very needed in what is always considered to be a focal point of the offense.

However, Bucky will need to get as healthy as possible as the season wraps up to close out on a high note going into next season.

Here is a look at where things stand heading into Week 12:
