Wisconsin Basketball: Badgers land 2024 three-star wing

The Wisconsin Badgers are already on the recruiting trail for the 2024 class. On Monday afternoon, three-star wing Jack Robison announced on Twitter that he will be committing to the Badgers basketball program.

Robison is yet another product from Lakeville North in Minnesota. The Lakeville North to Wisconsin pipeline continues as Robison becomes the fourth recruit from the school with Greg Gard at the helm. Other players include former Badger Nate Reuvers and current forward Tyler Wahl. Additionally, 2023 recruit Nolan Winter is a product of Lakeville North.

Robison is a 6-foot-6, 175-pound wing who is entering his junior year of high school. He is ranked as the 145th player in the country. Additionally, Robison ranks as the 34th small forward in the country and a top-three player in Minnesota.

The biggest draw for Robison is his scoring ability. In his sophomore year, the Minnesota native averaged 16.8 points per game. He is already shooting at a high clip, and with two more developmental years in high school, he could be a breakout candidate for the Badgers in his first year.

While slightly undersized for his position, his scrappiness is reminiscent of Tyler Wahl. Robison isn’t afraid to crash the boards and dive on the ground for loose balls. If he adds to his frame, he could make an immediate impact as a Badger.

Robison’s recruitment is another win for Joe Krabbenhoft. He wrapped up recruiting for the 2023 class just about a month ago. Krabbenhoft quickly turned around and secured an early commitment from a standout player at Lakeville North. Robison will have plenty of time to grow as a player, and his development will be an interesting thing to watch before he steps on campus.
